As a Security Officer Texas Armed Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support shoppers, team members, and store operations through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving and armed role calls for professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Assist local leadership and/or emergency personnel during medical events, alarm responses, evacuations, and other urgent situations while following post orders and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
