Staff Accountant

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accurate, timely financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close schedules
Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications
Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
One to three years of accounting experience; internship experience may be considered
Knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
Experience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
