Associate Maintenance Technician

divh2Entry Level Automation Maintenance Technician/h2pThe Entry Level Automation Maintenance Technician is required to assist in the diagnose and repair of Automation Equipment and all ancillary equipment. In addition, they must be able to communicate effectively with their customers, Production, and all support groups. Finally, they are required to accurately document the work performed, which is crucial and required in achieving World Class Maintenance./ph3Essential Duties Responsibilities/h3ulliSupport preventive maintenance and daily repair of automation equipment, and auxiliary equipment./liliPerform basic and routine machine maintenance functions, such as cleans, checks, and other production machinery to support operations./liliTroubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic and/or combined systems on Automation Machines and support equipment./liliAble to work with machine vendors to size and quote correct replacement parts for machinery./liliMaintain spare parts inventory for automation equipment and auxiliary equipment./liliMaintain proper records regarding machine maintenance (process history, etc.) using the CMMS system./liliMaintain 5S standards./liliSupport team cohesiveness/liliWork with other support groups such as Engineering, Planning, Quality and Production./liliMaintain satisfactory attendance record./liliAssure safe work practices to include proper use and wear of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, etc.)/liliMust be able to lift 50lbs, kneel, crouch and crawl, must be able to work standing, sitting or lying down./liliOther assigned duties as necessary/li/ulh3Knowledge Skills/h3ulliGeneral mechanical skills working with industrial machinery/liliBasic understanding of electrical circuits/liliBasic understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic schematics./liliPersonal computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook/liliGood team working skills/liliGood time management/liliGood attitude/li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications, Education Experience/h3ulliMust be at least 18 years of age/liliOne year of experience- Machine maintenance/li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWork is performed in a clean room environment/liliWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit stand or kneel for long periods of time./liliTechnician is required to use computer or touch screen to enter work order data/liliMust be able to occasionally move and lift objects of up to 50 lbs/liliTypically requires travel less than 5% of the time/li/ulh2About Us/h2pICU Medical has consistently provided you with clinical innovations that help solve real-world challenges./ppWith the acquisition of Hospira Infusion Systems in 2017 and Smiths Medical in 2022, we are now a global market leader with a complete line of clinically-essential IV therapy and high-value critical care products for hospital, alternate site, and home care settings./ppWere ready to bring you consistent quality, innovation, and value in more areas than ever.
