Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Respiratory Therapy team. This position involves the replacement of permanent staff who is retiring, focusing on providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. The RRT will cover various units within the facility, including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, and adult acute and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and manage ventilatory support.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to assist in treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
• Document patient assessments and treatments in the EMR system (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current RRT certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• NRP certification required for NICU.
• Tertiary, teaching hospital experience, and level 1 trauma experience preferred.
