Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Tertiary, teaching hospital experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU/PICU cardiothoracic experience.

Special Requests: - Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details: - Equipment includes Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm. - Patient Ratios: acute 1:25, critical 1:8

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call: 2 hours for the oncoming shift. - Weekend Hours: 36

Floating Requirements: - As an RRT, may float to NICU/PICU; acute care pediatrics and ED required, as well as adult acute and critical care.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
