Competitive candidates will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.Material Handler Responsibilities:Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandisePrepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsDeliver raw materials necessary for production to assembly lines and deliver finished goods to the warehouseProvide parts to assembly lineOpen boxes, crates, and other containersMaintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computerAssist in counting of physical inventoryPrepare parcels for shippingRequirements for Material Handler:Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skillsInventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills preferredAble to lift and/or move objects 10-50lbsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
