A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and provide timely financial reporting to leadership. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple responsibilities, and helping leadership make informed business decisions through accurate financial data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting records within Sage 100
• Prepare and provide weekly financial reports and updates to leadership
• Record and reconcile company expenses
• Manage accounts payable processes, including commission payments to business partners
• Monitor ACH transactions and ensure accurate recording of automated payments
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Create and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports to support business operations
• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team regarding customer billing and software renewal revenue
• Support external payroll and benefits administration vendors by providing necessary accounting information and reports
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls as needed
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with Sage 100 preferred
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
