Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Reading, PA

$80,000 - $90,000 + Benefits

Direct Hire | Full Time | Manufacturing

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity offers a varied role covering daily accounting, month-end close, financial reporting and process improvement.

What You'll Do

• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections and cash applications
• Prepare journal entries, account analysis and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing
• Assist with financial statements, reporting and variance analysis
• Review expense reports and corporate card activity
• Support audits, tax filings, and sales and use tax compliance
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Assist with special projects as required

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end close
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently
