Overview Candidates should have experience either documenting or enforcing commercial loans for institutional clients, which may include due diligence, UCC, debtor/creditor work, secured transactions, documentation and negotiation of sophisticated lending transactions, and broader bankruptcy experience, including familiarity with the bankruptcy court. Posting details Bankruptcy Associate Orange County Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County office seeks to hire an associate with three to five years of experience to support its bankruptcy and creditor’s rights practice group in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have experience either documenting or enforcing commercial loans for institutional clients. This may include experience with due diligence, UCC, debtor/creditor work, secured transactions, documentation and negotiation of sophisticated lending transactions, and broader bankruptcy experience, including familiarity with the bankruptcy court. Strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills required, as is admission to practice law in California. Participating in our local community is part of our credo and is expected of our team members. Our expected salary range for this position is $232,000-$270,000, depending on experience. This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.
