General ManagerEverLine Coatings, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive General Manager to lead our location in Farmington Hills, MI. Our small but rapidly growing team is in need of a critical field training and support function leader to successfully launch and support our growing network.Job BriefWe are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, sales, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people, and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help our company grow and thrive.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operationsDesign strategy and set goals for growthMaintain budgets and optimize expensesSet policies and processesEnsure employees work productively and develop professionallyOversee recruitment and training of new employeesEvaluate and improve operations and financial performanceDirect the employee assessment processPrepare regular reports for ownershipEnsure staff follows health and safety regulationsProvide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)Manage client contact including following up with clients and prospectsManage schedulingEnsure company meets sales objectivesProvide estimates for customersOversee marketingRequirements and SkillsProven experience as a General Manager or similar executive roleExperience in planning and budgetingKnowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)Strong analytical abilityExcellent communication skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership skillsProblem-solving aptitudeValid Michigan Drivers LicenseExperience in sales and/or marketingBSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plusThe right candidate will be in alignment with our core values and purpose.
