Job Summary

Gecko Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager in Memphis, TN, for a fast-casual restaurant concept focused on fresh, healthy options. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a passionate team while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The Restaurant General Manager will lead by example, drive operational excellence and financial performance, and work closely with local owners and community partners to support the restaurant's commitment to fresh, sustainable ingredients and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing high-volume restaurant operations
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
• Demonstrated success achieving sales, profitability, and other financial targets
• Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead by example while recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring a high-performing restaurant team
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency
• Drive guest satisfaction through a customer-first approach
• Manage labor, food costs, sales, and profitability to achieve financial goals
• Partner with local owners and community businesses to support fresh, sustainable sourcing initiatives
• Represent the restaurant at community events and local outreach opportunities
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on employee growth and retention
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
