Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health with a focus on adult patients aged 18-65. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated medical staff to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement care plans.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to support patient treatment.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• MUST have Iowa SING BG clearance including criminal and child abuse checks.
• All background checks must be fully cleared prior to starting.
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required.
• 10-panel drug test including opiates required.
• Recent titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB.
• 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health Unit or Psychiatric settings.
