Bolingbrook, United States | Posted on 06/23/2026 A well-established and growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve its quality systems, drive operational excellence, and support a culture of customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for the facility. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root‑cause analysis methodologies. Analyze quality metrics and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer requirements. Manage customer complaints, corrective actions, and preventive action processes (CAPA). Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Develop and mentor quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support new product launches and process changes through APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and other quality tools as applicable. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Participate in supplier quality initiatives and customer interactions as needed. Preferred Experience Experience in plastics, packaging, automotive, industrial, or other high‑volume manufacturing environments. ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, or related certifications) are a plus. Experience with customer‑facing quality responsibilities and supplier quality management. Minimum of 5 years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality systems, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience leading corrective action investigations and root cause analysis. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality auditing practices. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable. Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
