Level II Analyst, Program Cost Controls

Role Description

This is an opportunity within the Strike Initiatives (SI) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) as a P2 Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls supporting the Defensive Systems program area. The Defensive Systems portfolio covers a wide array of products in various lifecycles including EKV, RKV, and NGI programs. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position. In this role, you will have opportunities to collaborate with key functional stakeholders including Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers.

• Support the development of EACs
• Assist with CDRL preparation in support of contract requirements (such as CFSRs, FMERs, and CCDRs)
• Assist with organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation, labor and cost transfer submittals
• Support the monthly forecasting process for bookings, sales, earnings, and cash by coordinating updates with program stakeholders
• Respond to billing, funding, and financial data inquiries, as well as ad hoc analysis requests

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and/or variance analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience with financial tools such as SAP, BW, APEX, PRISM, or similar systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment while independently managing assigned tasks with flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively
• Basic understanding of financial principles and critical thinking skills to address stakeholder needs
