Head of Sales

- Lead US sales performance across all customer segments, delivering targets across bookings, profit, margins, conversion, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute the annual US sales strategy and translate company objectives into a practical growth plan for the US market
- Coach, develop, and lead Sales Team Leaders
- Create a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused sales culture
- Own forecasting, capacity planning, reporting, and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities and risks early
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and POD to align sales delivery with wider business goals
- Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, customer experience, CRM utilization, and team effectiveness
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning within the sales function
- Champion change initiatives and embed new ways of working
Requirements
- Significant experience leading consultative sales teams through managers or team leaders
- Proven track record of delivering commercial results and building high-performing sales cultures
- Strong experience with forecasting, sales planning, budgeting, performance management, and capacity planning
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders, strengthening capability and accountability across teams
- Confidence using data and insight to identify trends, make decisions, and improve business performance
- Experience driving operational and process improvements in a growing sales environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders
- Collaborative leadership style balancing commercial success with exceptional customer outcomes
- Candidates must be located in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IN, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NV, OR, PA, TX, VA
- Inside Travel Group participates in the E-Verify Program for all US based applicants
- Beneficial experience in travel, hospitality, luxury, experience-led, or other high-consideration sales environments
- Beneficial experience in multi-site, international, or matrixed organizations
- Beneficial experience with CRM and sales analytics tools such as Power BI
- Beneficial experience leading organizational change, sales transformation, or operating model improvements
- Beneficial experience designing onboarding, coaching, or leadership development programs
