This facility operates an organized perioperative program supporting anesthesia care delivery across inpatient and operating room settings under a physician supervision model. The facility maintains a daily patient volume of 34 and is staffed with 9 to 12 CRNAs on the day shift and 2 CRNAs available on call during nights and weekends. Clinical resources and protocols are in place to support structured coverage for both scheduled and on-call cases under a care team model.

The area is a waterfront community in Southwest Florida, centered around Charlotte Harbor and its surrounding inlets, which support boating, kayaking, and paddlecraft across calm bays and coastal terrain. Local parks such as Port Charlotte Beach Park and Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park offer trails, birdwatching, and waterfront access, alongside shopping and dining options at Port Charlotte Town Center and nearby Fishermen's Village. Nature tours, sunset cruises along Charlotte Harbor, and wildlife experiences at local sanctuaries and preserves provide additional ways to engage with the region's natural surroundings during time away from clinical duties.

The anesthesiologist will provide inpatient and OR anesthesia coverage on weekday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with shared call coverage that includes unrestricted nights and weekends. Weekday night call runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and weekend call runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM; one physician and two CRNAs are on call, with the second CRNA serving as backup. All call is beeper call; however, day cases on Saturday and Sunday should be expected. The clinician must be willing to work cases independently when needed, though the primary role is supervisory in nature.
