Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance to Healthcare Quality's Training Section to include all aspects of training for Healthcare Quality staff and the staff at the various facilities regulated by Healthcare Quality.
State Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and relevant training and development experience.
Agency Additional Requirements: Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.Must be able to obtain Surveyor Minimum Qualification Test (SMQT) Certification.

A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health Administration, and teaching experience. Instructional design experience and project management experience. Strong Learning Management System (LMS) administration skills to include developing, maintaining, and delivering training content. Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance to Healthcare Quality's Training Section to include all aspects of training for Healthcare Quality staff and the staff at the various facilities regulated by Healthcare Quality.
- Supervise staff within Healthcare Quality's Training Section. Provide guidance and leadership in the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of training programs within Healthcare Quality and the various facilities regulated by Healthcare Quality. Participates in the facility inspection/survey process as needed. Plan, design, and coordinate community training events for the facilities and professionals regulated by Healthcare Quality by working with internal and external partners. Serves as Healthcare Quality's eLearning Coordinator. Monitors required staff trainings and advises managers of personnel training needs and requirements.
- Plans and oversees new employee orientation for Healthcare Quality staff. Assists in the development of Standard Operating Procedures throughout the deputy area. Assists Bureau Director with implementation of new programs within the bureau. Recommends new programs and/or revisions to existing programs within the bureau. Presents information for discussion and decision-making purposes among HQ Leadership. Serves as backup to Bureau Director as requested. Performs other duties as assigned, to include, but not limited to assisting with inspections, reviewing inspection/survey reports for quality, preparing and presenting evidence at hearings/trials, participating in disaster preparedness and responses. Designated as an essential employee, subject to duty and/or call on a 24-hour basis during an emergency.
