Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite | 10-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients during assigned shift, providing care consistent with the nursing process and medical plan of care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary health care team members to coordinate and deliver patient care across applicable age groups
• Prescribe and implement individualized nursing care plans incorporating patient and family input, teaching needs, and discharge planning
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice
• Demonstrate competency in IV sedation and dysrhythmia management as required for PACU setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• PALS certification required within 1 year of hire
• Demonstrated competency in IV Sedation within 6 months of hire
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; charting system must be documented for each work history entry

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
