Travel Registered Nurse PACU Job

Overview Registered Nurse – PACU travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Schedule: Nights, 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours per week). Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for the designated shift.
• Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process aligned with the medical plan of care, incorporating input from patients and significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team; coordinate delivery of care to patients across age groups (as assigned) and include teaching and discharge planning in the plan of care.
• Delegate certain aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation, monitor patient progress, and contribute to patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license and ability to practice per state requirements.
• PACU/perioperative nursing experience or demonstrated competence in post-anesthesia care.
• Ability to work nights and participate in a 4x10-hour schedule.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) as required for PACU settings.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN).
