Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and identify patient care needs based on the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to devise a plan of care.
- Provide nursing care for patients of all age groups, including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, as assigned.
- Implement teaching and discharge planning as part of the overall nursing care plan.
- Delegate specific aspects of patient care to other nursing staff while considering their legal scope of practice and clinical competence.
- Maintain accountability for patient care and ensure nursing practices adhere to established standards.
- Advocate for patients and support them and their families throughout the care process.
