Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients across age groups as assigned by the unit, following the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the medical plan of care and input from patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate delivery of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for efficacy and adverse effects.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, document findings, and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to support safe transitions of care.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other nursing staff based on current competence and scope of practice.
• Maintain safety, infection control practices, and professional standards in care delivery.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license (in good standing)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
• Availability to begin on 08/10/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment
• Willingness to care for patients across age groups as required by the assigned unit
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
