Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology in Marysville, CA. Start date 08/10/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,667–$1,702 per week, with 36 hours per week across a nights-based schedule (3x12-hour shifts). This assignment takes place in an inpatient, acute care–level setting and is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients during the night shift, applying the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice, monitor responses, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to coordinate delivery of care across age groups as assigned, creating an effective plan of care.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment, discharge needs, and follow-up care; prepare for and participate in discharge planning.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of care to licensed and unlicensed staff based on competence and legal scope of practice; supervise care delivery to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, adhere to patient safety protocols, and communicate changes in patient status to the care team.
- This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient oncology or related unit; flexibility to care for patients across age groups as assigned.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with interdisciplinary colleagues.
- Willingness to participate in a 8-week travel assignment and adapt to new unit settings as needed.
