Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Response Specialist in Independence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. This role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and observe the movement of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
