This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients with complex health conditions, including cardiac and post-operative cardiac cath care. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in a progressive care or cardiac unit, ability to work all shift times including days, nights, and mids, and ability to submit all required PA clearances prior to start Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac care experience, familiarity with post-op cardiac cath and pacer management, positive attitude Additional Information: The unit has a patient ratio of approximately 1:5 for RNs and 10-12 patients for NCAs during days, increasing during nights. The unit primarily manages cardiac and geriatric patients, utilizing equipment such as pacers and arterial lines. All candidates must complete and upload clearances prior to start and attend weekly orientation on Mondays.
