HARVEST MOON INTERMEDIATE CARE FACILITY
We have an opportunity for you as a Direct Care Staff ! We are a 6-bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled Adults with health care needs. Direct Care Staff members play a vital role in the daily care for our residents in a home-like setting. Direct Care Staff job requirements:
·   Experience necessary,  be part of a team as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults
·   Basic cooking knowledge
·   Experience with ADL care, transfers and mobility, ROM exercises, and memory care.
·   Valid California ID or Driver's License and a social security card
·   Able to pass criminal background check and reference check.
·   Current CPR certification (can be taken while in training)  

·   Current TB test and a physical exams
·   Must be fully vaccinated with a booster or eligible for an exemption

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will be:

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals - all activities of daily living.
• Lifting and transfer of residents who are dependent on wheelchairs using lifts and assistance.
• Medication administration via GTube (after training completed).
• Light housekeeping duties (including laundry).
• Attendance of ongoing training.
• Implementation of therapy objectives.
• Daily documentation.
• Assist with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping
