Shifts: 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm / 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position in Horsham, PA. This role involves working onsite and providing crucial pharmaceutical services including prescription management, patient consultations, and pharmacy operations. The shifts include a differential for second and third shifts. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and medical standards while providing exemplary patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law
Ensure the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
Accurately maintain confidential patient records
Advise patients about medicines, including usage and potential reactions
Provide consultations on medication storage, dosage, and interactions
Offer services like smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
Educate patients on medical device usage
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain inventory
Identify drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare practitioners
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy interns

Requirements of the Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
Licensed by the state pharmacy board
