The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The focus will be on providing patient-centered care to improve functional independence. Duties include implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for residents. Effective communication with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team is essential. Maintaining compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards is required. Documentation must be completed per facility standards. This position offers mentorship opportunities for those with limited experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong documentation and time-management skills. A flexible and collaborative mindset is preferred for scheduling. Holiday coverage may be required.
