Legal Assistant

Foster LLP seeks candidates for the position of Legal Assistant in our Austin, TX office. Legal Assistants will work with attorneys and staff to initiate cases, prepare filings with supervision from attorneys while using case tracking software, and monitor cases. Legal Assistants will also communicate with clients around the world to obtain the necessary information and documentation for case filing. Responsibilities Prepare forms, data, and documents for filing with the government understanding that the forms and documents are not just pieces of paper but someone's livelihood. Analyze information and documents provided by client to determine next steps for case preparation Communicate with the Firm's clients and global partners in order to move cases to a timely and successful conclusion Manage caseload Maintain case records and client data in an accurate and comprehensive manner Bachelor's degree or higher required Willingness to learn Solid writing and communication skills Ability to work in a team and multi-task Proficiency in Microsoft Software Previous business immigration experience is a plus Foreign language fluency is a plus Training is provided.
