Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well‑being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. As a health professional with Jackson HealthPros, you will provide direct support to surgical teams in a high-volume hospital environment. The role offers opportunities for clinical growth and experience with complex surgical specialties. You will contribute to surgical patient safety and efficient perioperative workflows. Minimum Requirements Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS Certification. Washington state license required. Minimum 2 years of OR experience as a certified Surgical Technologist. Prefer trauma experience. Experience with EPIC charting system. COVID-19 vaccination required. Experience working in high-volume OR settings, including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics cases. Preferred Qualifications Trauma experience preferred. Experience with robotics cases preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours. Typical scheduled days: Friday through Sunday, noted in unit details; schedule includes call responsibilities. Call frequency: Approximately 2–3 calls in a 6-week schedule. Call response time: 20 minutes for trauma; 30 minutes for non-trauma. Orientation: Unit-specific orientation required; approximately 12 orientation hours. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Electronic Medical Record: EPIC. Unit details: 11 suites, averaging 30–40 cases per day.
