TCGi is hiring onsite support technicians to provide short-duration, desk-side coverage for a wave-based user migration for a confidential healthcare client across western Connecticut and the Hudson Valley, New York region. This is hands-on, user-facing work: you'll meet employees at their desks, walk them through the transition to a new device and account environment, and confirm everything is working before you move to the next user. A detailed runbook, a tracker, a briefing call, and an onsite lead are provided — you bring the technical skill and the professionalism to work calmly in a clinical setting. Following this initial project, ongoing tech support will be required for other company clients.
What You'll Do
• Meet each user at their workstation on their scheduled migration date.
• Confirm the first successful sign-in on the newly migrated device.
• Complete Intune enrollment on the new tenant, confirmed through to completion.
• Confirm first sign-in to the new mail environment and verify mail and calendar are present.
• Complete mobile device enrollment for users in scope.
• Support VIP and executive users in person on the day — no deferring these to remote support.
• Log the outcome for every user in the provided tracker and escalate exceptions to the onsite lead.
