We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Orthodontic Asstiant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication abilities. Schedule & Location This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 7:45 AM-5:00 PM Benefits Competitive Salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Opportunities for advancement and professional growth Key Qualifications and Skills Current CA RDA licensure 1+ years of Orthodontic experience An outgoing and friendly personality Must enjoy working with children Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality Responsibilities Include Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment. Take dental x-rays according to dentist's orders. Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing, etc.) Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Provide administrative support when necessary.
