Production Team Member

Job Details Job Location: 19 2710 Boonville Road - Bryan, TX 77808 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $14.00 - $14.00 Job Summary The Production Team Member is responsible for all aspects of processing donated merchandise, including receiving, sorting, grading, and preparing items for retail sale. This role ensures donations are handled efficiently, safely, and in accordance with organizational standards, while providing excellent customer service to donors. Key Responsibilities Donation Receiving & Donor Services: Greet donors and assist with unloading donations, providing courteous and professional service. Load and unload donation trucks as needed. Production & Processing: Sort, inspect, categorize, and price donations according to designated departments and daily production goals. Hang clothing on racks and maintain stock for the retail store. Document donations on production sheets. Follow Dell Reconnect and other standard operating procedures for sorting, labeling, and stacking materials. Operate baling machine for material compression if assigned. Palletize, wrap, and track materials for transport. Price and move furniture to the retail sales floor. Safety & Facility: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear as required. Operate equipment safely, including forklifts (company certification required). Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Duties: None. Up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Requirements Forklift operation requires company‑specific certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals. Proficiency in completing assignments accurately and on time. Occasional exposure to moving machinery or elevated surfaces. Safety gear may be required. The employee regularly works in a production/warehouse environment and may be exposed to outdoor weather, dust, lint, animal hair from donated goods, and varying noise levels.
