Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Activation

The Supply Chain Transformation Activation Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end launch and "activation" of new buildings. This role acts as the bridge between project planning and operational reality, ensuring new buildings are set up safely, on schedule, and aligned with company standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Activation Specialist will support on-site setup, WMS implementation, inventory stocking, and training, transforming an empty building into a fully functional operational facility.ResponsibilitiesSupport onsite activation of supply chain project sites to operational stability, ensuring all set-up and operational aspects are executed.Execute the playbook to drive all project critical path and timelines for each of their assigned goals.Deliver results on target opportunities, engage others and create alignment and accountability.Effectively collaborative with internal cross-functional teams to motivate, coordinate and drive execution activities.Consistently prioritize and understand most important deliverables on Supply Chain commitments.Track and provide operational progress for visibility of project stages, roadblocks and opportunities to field level action and sharing of best practices.Drive innovative solutions to ensure site completion delivering on committed transformation strategy.Maintain a high degree of flexibility to maximize productivity and results.Track and report on progress associated with all project activities.QualificationsFour-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field (examples, Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management, Engineering).1-3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, with direct experience in a launch, startup, or facility relocation project.Demonstrates skill in strategic planning, project management, and financial analytics.Sense of urgency regarding deadlines and projects and effective time management.Ability to drive complex initiatives to timely and successful conclusions.Cross-functional project management and organizational skills with proven problem-solving abilities.Proficient with Microsoft 365.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Value Stream Mapping and working within a performance excellence organization (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.Experience with goods to person technology.Physical Demands / Working EnvironmentWork performed in a typical office of distribution or warehouse environments.Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances and lift 50+ pounds.Driver’s License with ability to travel between locations as needed.Regular travel to work sites, up to 80%.
