Estate Planning, Probate and Guardianship ParalegalOur client is seeking an experienced paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience in probate, guardianship, and estate planning. This role is designed for a highly organized professional who thrives in a "team-first" culture and can manage complex legal workflows with precision and close client interaction.Compensation and benefits:Compensation: commensurate with experienceBenefits after 90-day probationary period, including:Paid time off and holidaysMedical coverageIRA with employer match and discretionary bonusResponsibilities:Manage the end-to-end workflow for probate and guardianship cases.Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents for estate planning.Prepare and understand complex guardianship and estate accountings.Handle daily time entry for billing and review entries for accuracy and reasonableness.Provide strong client service and communication in line with ethical rules (confidentiality, ethical billing, prohibition of unauthorized practice of law)Contribute to a collaborative team culture, assisting with office needs as requiredQualifications:Minimum three years experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship paralegalProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.Experience with office management software (e.g., Practice Panther) a plusFamiliarity with Westlaw Form Builder and probate/guardianship proceduresExperience with Wealth Counsel or similar estate planning software preferredAbility to type at least 40 words per minute and notarize documentsExperience preparing guardianship and estate accountings requiredExcellent time management and communication skillsUnderstanding of ethical rules governing paralegal practice
