Critical Care Intensivist

Job Summary ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Trident Health System in Charleston, South Carolina. Description Specialization: Critical Care Nephrology, Critical Care Anesthesiology, Critical Care Internal Medicine, Critical Care Pulmonary, Critical Care Emergency Medicine. Schedule Position available 2026. Full‑time. Schedule structure: 15 shifts per month. Core coverage at primary facility (Trident Medical Center) 12‑hour shifts across both days and nights Trident Medical Center: 28‑bed Med/Surg, CVICU, and Trauma ICU 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night Shared campus coverage supporting affiliated campus (Summerville Medical Center) ICU rounding and clinical support of the 24/7 APP. 2–3 hours on site at Summerville and night on‑call responsibilities on assigned coverage days (≈5 shifts per month) Summerville Medical Center: 12‑bed Medical ICU 24/7 APP coverage in‑house MD coverage during the day and night call from home Clinical teaching opportunity with Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine residents Qualifications Critical Care Board certified or eligible – most critical care specialties will be considered Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain Ability to work Full Time Available 2026 Incentive/Benefits Package Competitive hourly rate driven by FMV and industry benchmarking Excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, stock options, 401(k) with company match, disability, CME allowance and days, and more Sign‑on and relocation assistance available Appropriate staffing models and flexible block scheduling 100% covered occurrence‑based malpractice insurance Expert practice management including privileging, provider enrollment, and billing and collections Supportive Leadership and strong Advanced Practice Provider Team Employed, W2 position #J-18808-Ljbffr HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital
