Junior Web Application Developer

Junior Web Application DeveloperModify and maintain existing web-based software. Develop, modify, and maintain web applications that may be customized or standardized. Will be a directed participant in design and coding activities.Maintain and modify existing web-based applications.Assist in determining software specifications of feature requests for existing or new software.Design and code applications following specifications using the appropriate tools in a team environment.Perform unit and basic functional testing of new or modified software.Assist in creating software requirements and technical specifications for web application development.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and cascading style sheets (CSS).Basic knowledge of web application architecture.Basic knowledge of network communication protocols.Experience with scripting languages such as Jquery, AngularJS, NodeJS, or Coldfusion is helpful.Ability to translate business requirements and needs from non-technical staff and customers into software requirement specifications.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members.Ability to interface well with Professional Service staff and other non-technical members of the organization.Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.Introductory knowledge of SQL and database design.Willingness to learn new technologies and be a self-starter.Desire to create, innovate, and bring new products and ideas to management's attention.Two year technical degree or equivalent.Good understanding of web application design and development using Coldfusion.Good understanding of version control methods and a willingness to utilize version control.
