Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. Start date: 08/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Shift: 5×8 days (eight‑hour day or 7a‑7p as needed). This assignment is in a rural area about 2 hours from Boston; candidates must have their own transportation and be willing to float to units where experienced staff are available. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,527–$1,627 per week Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5×8 days (8‑hour shifts; 7a‑3p or 7a‑7p per unit needs) Start date: 08/11/2026 Setting: Long Term Care (LTC) – Nursing Home Guaranteed hours: none Responsibilities Observe each resident continuously and report changes in mental or physical status to the supervisor; document resident status and hand off comprehensive shift reports to the oncoming team Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders; administer medications and treatments as ordered; document MARs/TARs and electronic records Supervise and guide LNA staff within NH Nursing Practice Act requirements; assign care, supervise care delivery, and assist as needed Accompany the physician on rounds on assigned units to address medical needs and facilitate communication during evaluations Administer oxygen and enteral feeds per policy; perform wound care and manage wound vacs as trained Complete unit duties such as appointment reviews, therapy schedules, nutrition documentation, infection control oversight, and 24‑hour unit reporting; admit, discharge, and transfer residents as needed Requirements Active New Hampshire LPN license in good standing; resume and two supervisory references from the last 2 years required; all time‑off requests (RTO) must be submitted at initial presentation and cannot exceed 5 days BLS (AHA) certification; IV certification required or willingness to obtain during onboarding Minimum 3 years of current LPN experience (within the last 6 months) Willingness to float to units where experienced staff are available; must have own transportation; residency must be more than 50 miles from assignment (local candidates within 50 miles will not be accepted) Covid‑19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted) Prior travel experience preferred; rural/small facility experience highly preferred Benefits and Support Dedicated recruitment and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate faster placement Timely weekly pay with standard processing 24/7 support for travelers during the assignment Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
