Team Leaders support senior leadership in executing daily operations and holding team members accountable to each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service . The two primary areas of focus for a Team Leader are: Executing tasks that help the restaurant run effectively Coaching and developing team members Our leaders set the tone for the restaurant. They lead by example and create an environment where team members can learn, grow, and succeed. What You'll Do As a Chick-fil-A Leader, you will: Lead and inspire team members during daily restaurant operations Coach, train, and develop team members and future leaders Hold team members accountable to our standards and expectations Grow and develop other leaders Delegate responsibilities effectively and follow up on execution Participate operationally in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, cleanliness, and hospitality Provide excellent guest service and confidently handle guest recovery situations Assist with opening and closing responsibilities Participate in leadership meetings and ongoing training Help manage restaurant labor and deployment Assist with cash management and accountability Assist with inventory management and operational organization Manage conflict with maturity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence Take initiative and identify opportunities to improve the restaurant Create a positive, encouraging environment where people want to work and grow Support senior leadership in achieving restaurant goals and maintaining Operational Excellence What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has a positive, encouraging attitude Demonstrates strong character and integrity Has a strong work ethic and takes ownership of responsibilities Is dependable and reliable Communicates effectively with both team members and leaders Has a genuine desire to serve and develop others Is willing and able to coach others through both encouragement and accountability Demonstrates high emotional intelligence Can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do Works with a sense of urgency Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems Wants to continue learning and developing as a leader Is committed to creating an exceptional experience for our guests and team Previous leadership experience is helpful, but we are also willing to invest in the right person who demonstrates leadership potential and a desire to grow. Schedule This is a leadership position requiring flexible availability, including evenings and Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays, so you will always have Sundays off.
