Construction Superintendent (DG)

Position Construction Superintendent – Starting at $65,000+ per year (negotiable based on experience) plus a company vehicle and eligibility for a yearly bonus. Manage and schedule direct‑report carpenters. Report technical issues, installations, and troubleshooting to the Regional Construction Manager. Ensure material, supplies, permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained by foremen and carpenters promptly. Ensure timely and quality completion of all construction and carpentry projects. Adhere to construction scope, time, and material specifications; communicate any discrepancies. Assist with change‑order estimating, approval, and documentation. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. Ensure productivity of all construction division employees. Review job cost reports to monitor labor and material expenses. Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance. Comply with all verbal and written safety practices, including PPE usage and MSDS comprehension. Follow company policies in the employee handbook and DSI safety manual. Use the company vehicle to travel to customer locations. Execute all work to meet or exceed federal, state, local regulations and company/customer quality standards. Maintain a clean and neat jobsite. Establish and maintain schedules to deliver services in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner, including participation in on‑call rotations (nights and weekends). Perform other duties as required. Requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills. Minimum 5 years hands‑on construction experience. 2 years project management experience (preferred). Strong remodeling/restoration experience (preferred). Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to move and/or lift 50+ lbs. Pass background check and drug screen.
