Systems Technician

CuraLinc Healthcare

CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking a Systems Technician to join its Information Technology team. The role is based in the Chicago, IL office and requires in‑office presence four days per week. Candidates must reside within approximately one hour of the office. The Systems Technician will maintain and support end‑user hardware and IT infrastructure, assist employees with technical issues, manage equipment inventory, and support onboarding, offboarding, and routine system maintenance in a HIPAA and SOC 2 regulated environment. Primary Responsibilities Maintain Physical Technology Inventory, including laptops, monitors, keyboards, mice, desk phones, and cables for both in‑office and virtual staff Manage receiving, shipping, and internal distribution of IT equipment Administer Amazon and UPS accounts for equipment procurement, tracking, and accountability Communicate expected delivery dates and equipment status to internal teams Support hardware setup, configuration, and enrollment/deployment of new and existing users via Microsoft Intune Support employee lifecycle processes, including hardware deployment, account provisioning in Active Directory or Entra ID, access revoking, and equipment retrieval Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner Serve as initial point of contact for IT support inquiries via Zoho Desk ticketing system Support and troubleshoot in‑office infrastructure across Wi‑Fi, AV, and related systems Develop and maintain knowledge‑base articles for both end users and IT staff Work closely with the Director of Information Technology to meet daily operational needs Perform other duties as assigned Required/Minimum Qualifications Minimum of two years of hands‑on experience in hardware support or technical support roles Minimum of one year of experience in technology inventory management BS or BA in IT, computer science, or a related field preferred, but not required Strong computer skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot technology issues Experience with both Apple and Windows platforms; proficiency with Microsoft 365 required Familiarity with endpoint or MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune preferred Experience working within a ticketing system (JIRA, Zoho, Freshservice, or similar) preferred Experience with Active Directory or Entra ID for user or group management preferred Working knowledge of data networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VPN, VLANs, and Wi‑Fi Basic audio and video setup and troubleshooting knowledge Ability to communicate effectively with users across varying levels of technical proficiency Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities CuraLinc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
