Porter/CustodianThe Porter is committed to ensuring the facility is neat, clean, and in an orderly condition at all times. This individual is responsible for the building's appearance by cleaning and disinfecting common areas, cleaning/pickup parking lot and outside area, trash removal, and restocking of restrooms and break rooms. The Custodial Day Porter is expected to perform custodial duties in accordance with established standards and procedures to maintain the facility in a neat, clean, sanitary, and orderly manner.The Porter will be responsible for:Maintaining cleanliness of lobby and other common areasSweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors and stairsVacuuming floorsCleaning and dusting furniture and other surfacesCleaning and servicing lavatories, break roomsCleaning up spillsWashing and folding uniformsOther duties as assignedThe Porter is expected to have the following qualifications:Be 21 years of age or olderMust stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, reach above shoulders, bend, climb stairs, and or move/pick up items of up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to proactively identify problems and implement solutions.Willingness to be held accountable and receive feedback.U.S. work authorization and successful completion of pre-employment background checks and clearancesPrefer 1+ year of cleaning experienceDesire to work in the medical marijuana fieldAbility to stand for 8 hours dailyGIP, Ohio does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
