This position will teach general education and inclusive student classes. The teacher will: teach five sections across the day plus Advisory to high school students, be part of a grade level and content team that meets regularly and collaboratively; create, differentiate, and deliver challenging curriculum, meet academic needs of students and increase student achievement; participate in all‑school summer professional development beginning August 31, 2023; hold a Massachusetts certification in the content area required and dual certification in Special Education (Moderate) preferred and required within one year of hire. Responsibilities Teach English in an SEI setting. Teach English language, literature, composition, reading, and journalism using standards‑based curriculum guidelines from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that correlate with appropriate learning activities and district standards.
