Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00)

 

The Job Description:

POSITION: OR Tech STRONG ORTHO NEURO AND GENERAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT TRAVELERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AND ARE PROFICIENT WITH ALL THREE AREAS.

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

• Shift hours: 3x12s 11a-11p 

• On call requirement: Rotating call with staff 

• Weekend rotation with staff

• RTO Block Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included in the submission 

• Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks 

• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract. 

• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes 

• Locals Accepted? No locals accepted. 

REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS 

• BLS • NBSTSA NCCT or military OR Tech Cert accepted 

**VA or other state license required** 

• If traveler holds an out of state license they are required to obtain a VA state license. A 90 day authorization will be required so the traveler can work while VA state license is being issued. 

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

• Strong general ortho total joints and neuro experience required 

• Big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience highly preferred 

• Robotic trained-highly preferred

• Patient Population-Neonates Adolescents Infants Pediatrics Geriatrics • Level I trauma OR for southwest Virginia with 25 OR suites. 24x7 on site nursing coverage. Services - general orthopedics neurosurgery plastics gynecology oncology robotic ENT ophthalmology pediatrics sports medicine • Special Equipment: ROSA Si and Xi daVinci robots stealth O-Arm HIPEC
