Finance Manager

A dynamic, growing, stable company needs a financial professional to join the team. The successful candidate will have some construction experience and be a proven expert in QuickBooks and Excel. NOTE: This position reports directly to the Vice President of the company.    

The successful candidate will be a proven expert in QuickBooks and able to manage annual revenues of over ten (10) million dollars. Must have a can-do attitude and creative problem-solving skills.  

Responsibilities:

·         Records, tracks, evaluates & generates reports on financial performances

·         Provide financial advice to the president and senior leadership team

·         Examine the finances for opportunities to increase profits

·         Manage and utilize QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel       

·         Responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

·         Payroll Management          

·         Up-to-date financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Projects Costs)

·         Oversee payroll tax deductions & payments 

·         Control costs for both the business and engineering software

·         Manage day-to-day office activities including scheduling, correspondence, and supplies

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred  

·         5 (Five) plus years of accounting or finance in a ten (10) million- dollar construction environment

·         Experience in P&L’s, Balance Sheets, and forecasting projected costs

·         Intimate knowledge of cash management, financial analysis and planning, budgeting, pro forma projections, and other financial applications

·         Experience with AP/AR, job costing, profitability, invoicing, and collections

• Verifiable experience working with entrepreneurial owners, providing sound accounting practices and financial management
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and QuickBooks
• Ability to systemize self and others
