In this position, you will drive strategic thinking for our project and initiatives, partnering with accounts, creative people, other strategists, several clients and their stakeholders.We are looking for a strategic thinker who can work in autonomy and has a great sense of initiative. With expertise in managing strategy for marketing programs in B2B, collaborating closely with our clients, cross-functional teams and other partners, to deliver high-quality work in a fast paced environment.Our ideal candidate is a generalist marketing strategist and skilled at performing, coordinating or leveraging research, data and insights to build customer journey, marketing programs, go-to-market plans and have a track record for delivering high quality work from concept and executions through measurement and optimization. The candidate should be able to offer creative and innovative strategic solutions both to internal teams and clients, and be a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.In this role you will:Drive the strategy process to translate business challenges into strategic communications plans: from ad-hoc, desk or third-party research, strategic approach and recommendations, marketing and communication architecture, communications and go-to-market plan, to support creative executions.Provide strategic and creative recommendations, based on experience, data, marketing and communications best practices, to solve complex marketing narrative and creative challenges through marketing solutions.Help internal and external cross-functional teams advance projects through strategic thinking and roadmap, to be the glue and connected thinker between project and account management, creative, technology, user experience, product and marketing.Develop approach, frameworks and methodologies with a creative problem solving mindset.Contribute to or help lead client workshops and exercises to challenge clients to uncover their needs and potential.Regularly provide thought leadership and provocative insights, approach, competitive audits and benchmarks that bring a holistic perspective.Offer marketing and business-relevant conclusions and effectively communicate them to senior leadership, study stakeholders, and cross-functional teammatesExperience you already have:6-8 years of experience in marketing and communication strategyGreat interest and comfort with desk, qualitative and quantitative research, in order to analyze and interpret research data to surface the most relevant insights to turn into actionable marketing solutionsGreat interest and comfort to work with and help drive strategic thinking for user experience, website and digital driven projects, technology solutions, performance advertising and email marketing.Proven record for developing marketing and communications strategies shaped by data that deliver powerful work and business resultsExperience in online marketing, including acquisition, demand generation, nurture, growth, retention campaigns, website.Creative marketer with problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities, a passion for knowing your customer and proven track record designing data-driven programs that motivate them to take actionAbility to write briefs and direct creative teamsExperience supporting strategy across a variety of different channels, pure digital and integrated communicationsBackground in technology, SMB marketing and communications will be a plusAbility to work on a highly cross-functional team, manage several priorities and complex global projects simultaneously.Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with ability to link insights to strategy and translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communicationsPositive and proactive attitude, sense of humor, collaborative and strong team orientationEmbrace working in a fast paced continually evolving environment.The PerksAll benefits are effective starting the first day of the month following the start dateFully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependent(s)A 3% 401(k) match from the start3 weeks of paid time off in the first year (plus paid company holidays)Pet insurance for one furry (or feathery) friendCareer training and learning opportunities#LI-DM1About Media.Monks:At Media.Monks, you’ll be joining a highly ambitious company on a global mission to win the decade by changing the industry for good.
