Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Paraprofessional in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and special education best practices
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 24 students with diverse needs
• Skilled in both pull-out and push-in service models
• Comfortable working collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Valid credentials/certifications as required by state guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group instruction and targeted support outside the general classroom to ensure individualized attention
• Support students within general education classrooms, adapting materials and strategies as needed
• Collaborate actively in IEP and MET meetings, contributing insights and documenting progress
• Develop and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions
• Maintain proactive communication with families, staff, and other service providers
• Adhere to the school's schedule, with a commitment to being on campus before and after student hours for planning and collaboration

Working hours span from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with dedicated time for preparation and meetings.
