Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and promote staff development. Customer Service: Ensure customers receive excellent service by setting and maintaining high customer interactions, merchandising, and store cleanliness standards. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise to maximize sales and minimize waste. Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including merchandising displays, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives. Financial Management: Manage store budgets and financial performance, monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve budget targets. Quality Control: Maintain merchandise quality standards and ensure all items meet Goodwill's quality guidelines. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Goodwill policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Community Engagement: Represent Goodwill in the local community, building positive relationships with customers, donors, and community partners. Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree or equivalent experience Two years of successful supervisory experience at Goodwill; or 2+ years of successful store manager experience with full P&L responsibility in a small box environment; or 1+ years of successful management experience in a big box environment Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and pricing strategies. Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking software. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or another relevant language is a plus.
