Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a newly renovated MSICU. The ideal candidate will provide specialized critical care to adult patients in a high-acuity environment, utilizing advanced skills and adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care for ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical conditions.
• Perform critical procedures such as CRRT, intubations, and line placements with precision.
• Document patient information accurately within Meditech electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and unit guidelines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-equipped critical care environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Hold active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using Philips monitors and Alaris pumps.
• Possess a nursing license in good standing for Tennessee.
• Show experience with advanced critical procedures and patient management.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts in a fast-paced setting.
