• Comfort managing confidential health information and maintaining necessary documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, care, and treatment for illness and injuries during the school day
• Assist with management of chronic health concerns, medication administration, and health care plans for students
• Act as a health advocate, promoting wellness and educating students and staff on healthy habits, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with teaching staff, counselors, and parents to support students with medical needs
• Respond to medical emergencies and activate safety protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school health policies and state requirements
