ACCOUNTANT R30,000 - R42,000 CTC dependent experience

Introduction A vacancy has arisen for an experienced and technically sound Accountant in Longmeadow, Modderfontein. Duties & Responsibilities Duties Include but are not limited to: Effectively execute the creditors function by performing all associated tasks. Effectively execute all functions associated with the debtors function. Processing of financial transactions Update assets register in conjunction with new or disposal asset register. Perform accurate forecasting. Daily updates of Cash Book. Preparation and processing of provisions, depreciation, salaries, etc. Adjustments to supplier and/or customer accounts. Correct incorrect allocations. Create journals. General Ledger reconciliations Reconcile General Ledger. Balance accounts. Prepare VAT reconciliations and process e-filing. Credit Card Reconciliations and payments. Fleet Card reconciliations and payments. Analysis of Income statements and Balance Sheet Statements. Payment of non-stock goods. Management of petty cash. Evaluating and reporting on stock. Preparation of management accounts. Preparation of annual budgets. Perform general administrative duties within the finance department. Any other reasonable duties assigned to enable the Company to fully utilize its manpower resources. Desired Experience & Qualification Recognised Degree in Accounting/Finance. Minimum 5 years related experience. Working knowledge of Syspro. Advanced MS Excel skills. SAIPA membership advantageous.
